BIO: Born in 1964, Bronwyn's background is in graphic design and illustration. As a child she always loved drawing, painting and anything creative. She is proud to say that her first artistic recognition was winning the Australian Vegemite colouring-in competition when she was 3 or 4 years old (no-one can remember which)!
In 1981, her achievements included selection for the “Art Express” awards and after leaving school she worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for many years. After completing 4 years of studies in oil painting and other techniques, she then made the transition to fine art and painting.
Her first solo show was a huge success with all works selling on opening night. Since then her artistic career has continued in strength.
She has won various awards for her paintings which have continued to grow in popularity and her works are held in both public and private collections.
Bronwyn's paintings have been featured in various publications, highlighting her ability to capture the essence of her subject with boldness and sensitivity.
She is perhaps best known for her emotive, luminescent landscapes and her work in portraiture.
She also teaches art classes from her studio and other selected venues.
